The trends in plastic surgery today are all towards newer technology that is less intrusive. Face lift surgery is being replaced by facial fillers and Botox treatments. Liposuction is becoming the option that overrides body lifts. Breast augmentation remains popular, but today’s surgical methods are making several of the procedures much less difficult and dimishing recovery time.
The use of laser technology and related light treatments is beginning to replace some of the liposuction technology that left behind bruising and pain. Light use is also replacing chemical face peels – another example of technology replacing physical intervention.
